We highlight the best female F1 creators you need to be following this 2023 season.

1) Lissie Mackintosh @lissiemackintosh
Lissie Mackintosh is a rising star within the world of Formula 1 and the 23-year-old can often be seen up and down the paddock. Amassing over 230k followers on TikTok and nearly 200k on Instagram, she regularly shares F1 content for her fans. Lissie also hosts the podcast Going Purple, her latest episode featuring an interview with Lando Norris! Lissie successfully explored unique space on 'F1 TikTok' and tapped into a demographic that had been traditionally neglected - young women.
Lissie's content often focuses on diversity within F1 and in an interview Sky Sports F1, she explained "We need more women who are relatable and being shown. That's the way to get younger girls interested in the sport. The roles aren't just male roles. We all need to be aware of the fact that representation on F1 isn't quite where it needs to be at the moment,"
Make sure to follow on her social media pages, and listen to Going Purple throughout the season!
2) F1 ELLY @f1elly
F1 ELLY started her online career on the streaming platform Twitch, where she created iRacing videos and other F1 related content. Just like real life racing, racing online is a similarly male-dominated area - but this didn't stop Elly breaking boundaries. Based from Austin, Texas, she became a trailblazer, as RedBull Racing's first official full time content creator, marking a new era for how Formula One teams connect with their audiences. Along side Twitch, she posts regularly on Instagram and TikTok - one of her latest videos with Max Verstappen, pictured below, gaining 7.8 million views.
Elly stands out from traditional broadcasting and content creation with her comedic, light-hearted approach and videos. Credit to RedBull Racing for embracing her unique style and giving her the support she deserves!
3) Naomi Schiff @naomischiff
Not only is Naomi Schiff a presenter and analyst for Sky Sports, she is also a racing driver herself! Naomi has a large following on social media, where she helps inspire young girls to get into racing - she recently visited a girls school in South Africa to talk about her experience in the sport! Her extensive racing career includes competing in 24 Hours of
Nürburgring and winning the 2015 KTM X-Bow.
Though she has experienced online trolling, she has never let that prevent her from making a career in F1, and she has gone on to present the 2022 and 2023 Mercedes F1 team car launches and co-present Any Driven Monday for Sky Sports F1. Naomi described on Twitter how she would never "let anyone turn down my ambition or passion because they are uncomfortable with the volume". We think that's a great motto to live by.
4) Sophia Upton @f1.soph
Sophia is another fantastic F1 influencer and content creator, boasting nearly thirty thousand TikTok followers and 2.4 million likes on her account. She posts regularly across her social media platforms and always has plenty of discount codes on F1 merch - what's not to love? Her videos are perfect to scroll through to keep up to date with the world of F1 in a fun and accessible way. Sophia also gives us access to her various F1 ventures, such as her visit to the F1 arcade and her experience at the Bahrain watch party. We feel she is a great up-and-coming creator to follow - if anything her reaction during her Daniel Riccardo merch unboxing shows how much of a true fan of the sport she really is. Make sure to give Sophia a follow this season!
